Concept:
NestScape is inspired by childhood memories of birdwatching in the mangroves of Al Khor, translating moments of quiet observation into a sculptural urban bird feeder. Three vertical pillars echo the rhythm of mangrove roots, supporting spaces for water and food. The top piece is specially designed to release water slowly, creating gentle droplets that attract birds and invite them to pause, bridging natural rituals with urban life.
Production:
Constructed from CNC-milled wood and precisely bent metal, NestScape combines steel, wood, and stone for both strength and tactility. The slow-drip feature is integrated into the top element, engineered to let water pass through gradually. Digital fabrication and careful assembly ensure a durable, refined structure that brings a touch of nature’s calm into city spaces.
